Our Team

MGHAM was set up by Michael Gibbs-Harris who has over 30 years experience in managing global portfolios in a variety of locations including London, San Francisco, Sydney, Hong Kong and Wellington where he was Director and Chief Investment Officer of Colonial First State (NZ). He also was a Consultant to the National Provident Fund of Samoa.

Mike has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and has taken further courses at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Australian Graduate School of Management. He has also taught courses on investment practise and theory in Singapore and Malaysia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

MGH Asset Management’s Chief Operating Officer is Molli J. Thompsen. Before moving to New Zealand she was the Managing Director of the Hong Kong operations of G.K Goh Ltd, a listed Singaporean stockbroker. Prior to that she worked in institutional sales for major stockbroking firms including Merrill Lynch, Jardine Fleming and E.F.Hutton in Hong Kong, Australia and the US.
Molli has a BA in Administration and Legal Processes from Mills College, Oakland California.

Dr Siva Naguleswaran is Manager-Risk and Research for MGH Asset Management. He has over 10 years experience in global financial markets, mainly involved in quantitative risk analysis particularly with regard to interest rate instruments.

Siva has a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Canterbury (NZ), and a B.Sc (Hons) First Class degree in Physics from the University of Canterbury.
